Statement on the Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data & Consent Form for CREATIVE EXPO TAIWAN 2025

Notice on Personal Data Collection

The Ministry of Culture (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry") has commissioned the Taiwan Design Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "TDRI") to execute CREATIVE EXPO TAIWAN 2025.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, before you provide your personal data to the Ministry, we are legally obligated to inform you of the following:

  1. Categories and Purpose of Data Collection

    2. The Ministry or its authorized project management unit will collect the following categories of personal data to fulfill statutory purposes related to:016 Cultural Administration, 078 Planning, Control, Evaluation, and Other Research & Analysis Management, 098 Commercial and Technical Information, 150 Auxiliary and Logistical Support Management and other legally mandated purposes. The collected personal data includes:C001: Identifiable Personal Information (including name, email address)and C011: Personal Description (including age, gender, nationality). The Ministry will collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and relevant regulations under the Ministry’s personal data management policies.

  2. Duration of Data Usage

    3. Your personal data will be reasonably utilized for the duration necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection.

  3. Geographic Scope of Data Usage

    4. Unless the data collection purpose involves international affairs or activities, your personal data will be used only within the jurisdiction of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

  4. Scope of Data Usage

    5. Your personal data will be reasonably utilized for the following purposes:

    1. 1.1 The specific purpose for which it was originally collected.
    2. 1.2 Promotion, advocacy, and support of industries beyond this particular event.
    3. 1.3 Administrative assistance requested by other governmental agencies.
  5. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

    6. According to Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to request the following actions regarding your personal data by contacting the Ministry or its authorized project management unit:

    You may request:

    1. 5.1 To inquire about or review your data.
    2. 5.2 To obtain a copy of your data.
    3. 5.3 To supplement or correct your data.
    4. 5.4 To stop the collection, processing, and use of your data.
    5. 5.5 To request the deletion of your data.

    Additionally, under Article 14 of the Personal Data Protection Act, the Ministry may charge an administrative processing fee for such requests.

  6. Consequences of Not Providing Personal Data

    7. If you do not provide accurate personal data, the Ministry or its authorized project management unit may be unable to provide services related to the intended purpose.

  7. Supervision of Data Processing

    8. If the Ministry entrusts TDRI with processing your personal data for operational needs, the Ministry will fulfill its responsibility to supervise the processing activities.

  8. Consent and Electronic Record Retention

    9. You acknowledge that this consent form complies with the Personal Data Protection Act and relevant regulations. You also agree that the Ministry and TDRI may retain this consent form for verification purposes.
